Open position – Youth Director and Worship Leader

Tyner UMC has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Youth Director and Worship Leader to
develop our youth ministries and help form a worship service that reach youth and young adults.
S/he will work alongside the pastor and minister of music to plan for worship services and youth
activities.

Desired Qualifications:
• Previous experience with youth leadership for 6-12 grade young people and experience
leading in music and worship.
• A college degree that corresponds with job responsibilities or equivalent experience is
preferred
• S/he must model the core values of our church and denomination, and honor the beliefs and
religious practices of the UMC

Compensation:
• Salary will be commensurate with a candidate’s experience and education
