Sermon scripture: Psalm 100
A psalm. For giving grateful praise.

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.

    Worship the Lord with gladness;
    come before him with joyful songs.

Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Acknowledge the Lord: Praise Him alone(vs.1-2):

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20

not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:25

Receive the Lord: Confess (know) that He is the only true God (v.3)

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Psalm 139:14

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. Just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.
John 10:11,15

Enter the Lord’s presence with a thankful heart (vs.4-5):

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
James 1:17

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Hebrews 13:8
