Bio:

I have spent nearly my whole life at Tyner United Methodist Church. I was fortunate to grow up at Tyner UMC. I’ve been a member since I was two years old (and I’m 51 now).  God has always been a major priority in my life.  I grew up with parents who loved me more than anything and made sure I attended and was involved in church. I have carried that throughout my life.

When my mom passed away in 2010 from cancer, God showed me His plan for me.  The opportunity for a part-time Children’s Director was proposed to me.  My dream had come true!  I said yes immediately and felt so blessed to be able to do what I felt God wanted for me. What job could be better than teaching children about Jesus and his love for us!? Praise God I’m working for him.

When I’m not at work I love to spend time with my amazing husband, Rick (we have been married for 34 years) and our daughter, Tiffany 29. I love to travel, especially to the beach. I love to take rides in our convertible.  Like most women, I love to shop.

Stuff I Do and Don’t Like!

I dislike anything diet and scary movies.

I don’t really have a favorite color, but pink and red top the list. My husband says I wear too much black, but black isn’t a color!

I graduated from Tyner High School in 1984, and completed  Cosmetology school in 1985. I also took computer classes at Chattanooga State  (but I still can’t figure out my silly laptop).

I love Chattanooga Mocs football and basketball. I’ll root for most SEC football teams(with the expectation of Alabama and Florida) but I’m a diehard Tennessee Vols fan.

I’m not sure I could live without an ice cold Coca-Cola! That is the way to my heart!

My favorite books are Gone with the Wind and Rebecca.

My favorite movies Cinderella and Little Mermaid. I’m a princess at heart.

My favorite quote is “Next time a sunrise steals your breath or a meadow of flowers leaves you speechless, remain that way. Say nothing and listen as heaven whispers, ‘Do you like it?’ I made it just for you” – Max Lucado
