Quality of our Program
Tyner UMC Preschool is fortunate to have a very encouraging and knowledgeable staff lead by Lauren Frye, Preschool director. Tyner UMC Preschool also has a preschool board made up of current and retired Hamilton County teachers that support and advise with all aspects of the preschool. Our staff strives to enhance the quality of care, christian values, and academic standards that have been established in our program for more than 52 years.
We have classes for children from the age of 12 months to pre-k4 on Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00 to 2:00. Tyner UMC Preschool offers a full curriculum & themed study units for all age groups, along with a music class once a week for all ages, and a Spanish class for our three and four year olds once a week. We focus on topics that will be the foundation of their elementary school years and we strive to make it fun and educational. We have large classrooms for all ages, a gym and a designated playground for each age group.
