3 SIMPLE RULES | Do No Harm
On this Fifth Sunday, we joined together for fellowship over breakfast and then a combined service featuring guest speaker Rev. Reed Shell. Rev. Shell is the District Superintendent for the Scenic South of Holston Conference. We were grateful to have our DS lead us in worship as he shared a message with us to begin a new series on John Wesley’s “3 Simple Rules.” Rev. Shell’s message kicked off our series with the first rule: “Do no harm.”

Hope for the Future – Next Generation Sunday
We are so excited to celebrate Next Generation Sunday at Tyner UMC with our students and children helping to lead our worship service! This was an awesome opportunity to have the generations united in worship. Director of Student Ministries Josh Derrick shared a message about empowering the next generation of believers titled “Hope for the Future.” Tyner UMC is confident that God is working in this place to give us a future better than we could even imagine!
